Cream of Parsley Soup

Stew it little to keep green and enjoy the feeling of onion and celery.Soup is a must item on the Slovak dinning table.


Recipe (for 4 people)

  
Parsley                     110g
Onion                         110g
Celery                         60g
Butter                         25g
Flour             2 table spoon
Chicken stock         1000cc
Fresh cream             100cc
Salt and Ground pepper
French bread of garlic bread

  Prepare chicken soup stock in the pot.   Chop roughly parsley, onion and celery.   Put chopped vegetables, flour, butter, a little soup into the blender and work to a smooth puree. (Do twice if the amount is too much)

  Transfer puree to the pot and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add seasoning.   Finish with cream and let bread accompany.
